Socio-cultural Data

Present Uses

Michael Swaine and Amy Franceschini, two of the founders of Futurefarmers, USA, enacted the project ERRATUM in 2010 in San Francisco, California as a “reverse ready-made”, a commentary on our wasteful waste systems (toilets flush useful water and nitrogen into the sewage system). The deconstruction resulted in new porcelain shard and dust bricks which were accompanied by letter-pressed books with a text by Renny Pritikin. Society’s errata can be erased if we turn towards “new ideas, self-reliance and regeneration”.
